Here is C on her first day of middle school. She is a 5th grader this year and excited to finally be in middle school. She is taking art and general music for her elective classes.
P started 1st grade this year and loves her new teacher and her class.
She is a little concerned about having homework. (It doesn't help that she has watched her older brother complain about homework for her whole life...and that he kept reminding her all summer "now you are going to have to do homework and you aren't going to get to play as much.") She was happy to hear that she wouldn't get any homework until after Labor Day. That has greatly eased her mind and allowed her to enjoy the beginning of the school year and adjust to a new classroom and routine.
